Dudes split opening series with Highline Bears

Joe Schwab started on the mound for the Dudes opening game on Friday night at Mel Olson in West Seattle. Unfortunately, no fans were allowed to attend but many still made their presence known beyond the LF fence.

Schwab had a strong outing striking out three, walking 2 and only allowing one hit over three innings of shut out baseball. Jeremy Vierra got the scoring started with a 2 RBI double. Tyler Durbin of Azusa Pacific also had an outstanding first game notching two hits and plating one.

The pitching staff would struggle to perform the remainder of the game eventually walking in the winning run in the bottom of the tenth.

In game two the offense and pitching would rebound winning the game 12-4 fueled by a big day from Gio Parascondaola of University of Puget Sound, taking us into an off day.
