Nelson shoves on the mound and Truex crushes HR to beat Seattle Studs 4-3

Your Redmond Dudes beat the Seattle Studs Thursday night at Husky Stadium by a score of 4-3! Dakota Nelson came to win on Thursday night and shoved, throwing a shutout through six complete innings. Redmond started off the scoring and got up 3-0 with RBIs from RBI: J.Valencia (4), R.Quinton (2), C.Truex (3), J.Levin (2). Clayton Truex made the score 4-0 with an absolute bomb over the left field wall for his second homerun of season. Nelson started to waiver in the 7th as two Studs got aboard as the general manager Colin McBride took a mound visit to talk things over and allow time for 6′ 9″ LHP Peter Ivrin to get loose in the bullpen. McBride allowed Nelson to face the next batter Mason Quinlan who doubled down the left field line scoring two for the Studs. Kirk Boe then stepped to the plate and singled through the 3-4 hole scoring one more for the Studs making the score 4-3 Dudes. Peter Irvin then entered the game with runners on second and third with two outs. Irvin worked a full count and then walked G. Grant to load the bases and face Landon Riker. Irvin battled and got Riker to ground out to the second basemen rescuing the Dudes from a dangerous situation. Dudes closer Colton turner then entered the game to seal the victory and threw a shut out inning to complete the Redmond Dudes victory over the Seattle Studs 4-3!
