Redmond Dudes 14U Walks Away Victorious Over 2019 14U BULLDOGS BLUE, 5-1

Redmond Dudes 14U took home a 5-1 victory over 2019 14U BULLDOGS BLUE on Saturday.

2019 14U BULLDOGS BLUE fired up the offense in the first inning, when Kaden Ecklundsingled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run.

Redmond Dudes 14U knotted the game up at one in the bottom of the first inning. Redmond Dudes 14U scored one run on a stolen base.

Redmond Dudes 14U pulled away for good with one run in the fourth inning. In the fourth Colby Simpson‘s sac fly scored one run for Redmond Dudes 14U.

Redmond Dudes 14U notched three runs in the fifth inning. Redmond Dudes 14U‘s big inning was driven by a walk by Brenden Johnson and a single by Braden DePaola.

DePaola led things off on the hill for Redmond Dudes 14U. He surrendered one run on four hits over six and two-thirds innings, striking out five.

Kalied Lorenzo was on the mound for 2019 14U BULLDOGS BLUE. He surrendered five runs on seven hits over four and a third innings, striking out four and walking one. Lamont Richardson threw one and two-thirds innings out of the bullpen.

Redmond Dudes 14U racked up seven hits. Kai PeralaLuke Sketchly, and DePaola all had multiple hits for Redmond Dudes 14UDePaolaSketchly, and Perala each collected two hits to lead Redmond Dudes 14U.

Ecklund went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead 2019 14U BULLDOGS BLUE in hits. 2019 14U BULLDOGS BLUE didn’t commit a single error in the field. Zach Hatcher had seven chances in the field, the most on the team.
